The popular song “Raanjhan” from the 2024 film ‘Do Patti’ recently found itself at the center of a stormy dispute. The movie, which featured acclaimed actors Kriti Sanon and Kajol, saw its music gain a lot of love. However, that love quickly turned to controversy when claims of music theft surfaced against the song’s composers, Sachet-Parampara, and T-Series.
An international music producer, KMKZ, accused the duo and the music label of stealing the track. This led Sachet-Parampara to take swift legal action. They have officially rejected all the claims made against “Raanjhan,” calling them baseless.
Sachet-Parampara Fires Back at Accusations
In a strong statement, Sachet-Parampara clarified their position. They asserted that the person making these accusations, claiming to have created “Raanjhan’s” music, is doing so without any foundation. The duo believes the accuser’s true goal is to stir up trouble and gain personal fame. They also shared that they have sent out a defamation notice. This notice signals their intent to pursue strict legal action against what they view as a malicious attempt to tarnish their work and reputation.

Original Files Confirm Creators
Sachet-Parampara also confirmed that they had already sent the original project files and piano scores for “Raanjhan” to major streaming platforms like YouTube and Spotify. They stated that these platforms reviewed the materials and confirmed the duo’s ownership rights. The platforms also rejected all copyright claims made by the accuser.
The allegations of music theft and copyright infringement from the foreign musician KMKZ were carefully reviewed. Many well-known music platforms dismissed these claims. Streaming services received all of “Raanjhan’s” project files even before the song was publicly released. After a thorough check, these platforms concluded that Sachet-Parampara are indeed the original creators of the track.
