South Africa A declared the first inning at 509 for seven. To the stumps, India A team captain Priyank Panchal was present at the fold with 45 and Abhimanyu Easwaran scoring 27 runs.

Starter Prithvi Shaw (48 of 45 balls with nine fours) was heading into a big inning, but was fired in the 14th. India hit 33 overs on Wednesday and is losing by 384 runs in the four-day game. Previously, South Africa A batsmen dominated India A bowlers as the home team added 166 runs in 45.3 overs and declared the first inning at 509 for seven in 135.3 overs.
