South Africa A declared the first inning at 509 for seven. To the stumps, India A team captain Priyank Panchal was present at the fold with 45 and Abhimanyu Easwaran scoring 27 runs.
Starter Prithvi Shaw (48 of 45 balls with nine fours) was heading into a big inning, but was fired in the 14th. India hit 33 overs on Wednesday and is losing by 384 runs in the four-day game. Previously, South Africa A batsmen dominated India A bowlers as the home team added 166 runs in 45.3 overs and declared the first inning at 509 for seven in 135.3 overs.

But wicket-keeper batsmen Synthemba Keshile (82 no out) and Georges Linde (51 no out) made quick runs against the Indian bowlers and posted 102 runs for the sixth wicket in 27.2 overs.
