Earlier, NATO Secretary-General Anders Fogh Rasmussen accused Russia of having a military presence in Ukraine. “We have seen a large number of Russian troops in Ukraine in recent weeks, which is a matter of concern because if Russia does not give up, the situation and relations could deteriorate,” he said.
Reacting to the accusation, the Russian president said that “on the one hand, the situation with Ukraine is coming to an end and on the other hand, the Western countries are trying to increase the pressure on Belarus and Poland by closing the borders for refugees.”
