Russian bombing continues on Ukraine, 19 killed, more than 100 injured

Russia rained cruise missiles on Ukrainian cities, killing 19 people and injuring more than 100.

According to the foreign media, Russia’s most severe bombing is continuing in Ukraine, which has killed many people and injured dozens, while many buildings have been destroyed, electricity supply from Ukraine to Europe has also been cut off.

Eighty-six missiles were fired in many cities including the capital city of Kyiv, Kharkiv, Dnipro, Lyov, and Zaporizhia. Emergency services have confirmed 19 deaths and over 100 injured.

After the attacks on the basic administrative infrastructure, the transmission of electricity to Europe has been cut off.

The US termed the Russian attack as “brutal” and said that these attacks targeted non-military targets, including a university and a playground.

US President Joe Biden has promised to supply missile defense systems to his Ukrainian counterpart Volodymyr Zelensky following Russian missile attacks.

In a telephone conversation with Vladimir Zelensky, Joe Biden said the United States and its allies will hold Russia accountable for its war crimes.

UN Secretary General Antonio Guterres says that this is an unacceptable provocation and the highest cost of such attacks is being paid by civilians.

Russian President Vladimir Putin described the action as retaliation for the attack on the bridge connecting Crimea and Russia.
