The entertainment world is mourning the loss of Kseniya Alexandrova, a Russian beauty queen and budding therapist. She passed away on August 12, 2025, at the young age of 30. Her death came just four months after she married her husband, Ilya, in what was meant to be a joyful new chapter.
Tragically, Kseniya’s life was cut short by a car accident. In July, her vehicle, with Ilya by her side, collided with a moose in Russia’s Tver oblast. Kseniya suffered a serious brain injury from the impact. Despite efforts, she died in the hospital a month later.
Her modeling agency, Modus Vivendis, confirmed the sad news on social media. They shared a heartfelt message about her. “It is with deep regret that we announce our colleague and friend, model Ksenia Alexandrova, passed away last night,” the agency wrote. “Ksenia was bright, talented, and incredibly radiant. She knew how to inspire, support, and bring warmth to everyone around her. For us, she will always be a symbol of beauty, kindness, and inner strength.”
Kseniya was more than just a beautiful face; she was a woman of intellect and purpose. She pursued higher education, showing a keen interest in both numbers and human nature. In 2016, she studied finance and credit at Plekhanov Russian University of Economics. Later, she explored psychology at Moscow State Pedagogical University. By the time she passed, she was working as a therapist.
Her social media posts often reflected her professional passion. In April 2025, she shared thoughts on anxiety, a common reason people seek therapy. She wrote that anxiety often hides behind things like body tension, feeling tired, wanting to control everything, or struggling to make choices.
Her path to the spotlight began in 2017. Kseniya was named first runner-up in the Miss Russia competition. This success led her to represent Russia at the Miss Universe pageant later that year. While she didn’t make it into the top 16 finalists, she proudly stood for her country on a global stage.

Kseniya’s personal life had also just reached a peak of happiness. She and Ilya exchanged vows in April 2025. She shared stunning photos from their wedding day on Instagram. In her heartfelt caption, she wrote, “I remember every second, and it feels like I’m still living that whirlwind of emotions.” She added that “there was so much love, joy, and sincere feelings on this day that my heart is still full of them.”

Kseniya also had an active lifestyle and was a fan of Pilates. In December 2024, she posted about a new Pilates studio called UFORM @uform_studio in Moscow. She praised its cozy and stylish vibe and told her followers to give it a try. She said that reformer classes were “truly the key to real posture and a strong, healthy, fit body.” Her life, though brief, was full of passion, learning, and love.
