Brussels: EU foreign policy and security chief Giuseppe Borrell says Ukraine’s invasion of Russia poses a threat to world food security.
According to foreign media, the representative of the European Union Joseph Borrell has claimed in his article that Russia is putting the world at risk of famine by blocking the supply of grain to Ukraine. He accused Russian forces of attacking agricultural equipment, warehouses, markets, roads and bridges in Ukraine and blocking Ukrainian ports, saying that these measures had stopped the export of millions of tons of grain to the world market. As a result, many countries are facing food shortages.
Borrell claimed that Russian forces had turned the Black Sea into a “war zone” and was blocking shipments of wheat and fertilizer from Ukraine. Too many sins have increased,
The statement from the Foreign and Commonwealth Office came as Ukraine accused Russia of withholding Ukrainian grain exports during the ongoing war.
