Russia and Ukraine sign big deal for global food crisis
The good news came on Friday, amid five months of war, that Russia and Ukraine have reached a UN-mediated agreement to continue unabated grain exports from the Black Sea after 150 days. With this deal, Russia will no longer stop grain-laden ships leaving Ukraine’s ports. It is believed that after this the growing food crisis in the world can be avoided. The agreement between the two countries was signed at Dolmabach Palace in Turkey.
Why was the export stopped till now?
