Raid-raid sirens sounded for more than three hours in most of eastern Ukraine from about 1:40 a.m. (2240 GMT), the country’s Air Force said.
At 5.30 am the Air Force said on its Telegram channel that there was a new threat of attacks against the eastern and southeastern regions of Ukraine using ballistic weapons and issued air strike alerts for those areas.
Ukrainian forces disrupted a Russian drone attack on kyiv, Ukrainian military officials said on Tuesday, reporting no casualties or damage.
“Tonight the enemy has attacked kyiv” by means of drones, Sergiy Popko, the head of the capital’s military administration, declared on Telegram.
