Russia denounces Ukrainian attack in Makiivka, in Donetsk

Moscow (BLAZETRENDS) caused at least one death and 41 injuries.

“Late in the (Tuesday) afternoon, the enemy launched fierce attacks on residential areas and the hospital complex in the Chervonogvardeiski district of Makiivka. The shock wave was felt by the majority of residents of Makiivka and Donetsk,” the regional capital, Pushilin said on his Telegram account.

According to the head of the administration of the occupied city, Vladislav Kliuchkárov, so far the number of civilians injured in the attack amounts to 41, including two children born in 2009 and 2014.

A 61-year-old man died from the missile bombardment, he said on Rossía-24 public television.

According to the Russian authorities, nine medical facilities were damaged, including the endocrinological center, two clinics, the municipal psychiatric hospital, tuberculosis and drug treatment clinics, two outpatient clinics and a blood transfusion station.

Kliuchkárov further assured that forty buildings, 12 educational institutions, 13 kindergartens, 4 sports centers, 13 social facilities and two fire stations suffered material damage from the missile bombardment.

Russia denounces new Ukrainian attacks against the Kursk and Belgorod regions

Russia also denounced new Ukrainian attacks with drones and artillery fire against towns in the border regions of Belgorod and Kursk, in which at least one person was injured.

“A woman had to be hospitalized with injuries to her chest caused by shrapnel,” the governor of the Belgorod region, Vladislav Gladkov, wrote on his Telegram channel, indicating that the target of the attack was the city of Valuiki, located about 10 kilometers from the border with Ukraine.
