Popular Bengali singer Rupankar Bagchi, who made controversial comments about the late singer Krishna Kumar Kunath, also known as KK, has gotten into a lot of trouble. A few hours before KK’s death, Roopankar had shared a post on Facebook asking who is KK after all. We are better than any KK. A few hours after this publication, the news of KK’s death arrived. After this, he began to be fiercely trolled on this Roopankar post. Not only this, the singer even started receiving death threats. Roopankar’s wife filed a complaint at the police station via email. After all this, Roopankar not only had to delete his post on KK, but also called a press conference to apologize to relatives of the late singer.
Rupankar Bagchi said at the press conference: ‘I express my condolences to the relatives of the late singer KK. During the last few days, a video of mine was the subject of discussion, which I deleted from Facebook. I am not familiar with the members of the KK family, but I want to say through you that I am sorry. Where are you today, may the above bless you. ,
Along with this, Rupankar Bagchi further said, ‘I never had to face so much panic in my entire singing career. My whole family is scared. We deal with mental pain. My wife constantly receives threats on the phone. I have a lot of love for my singing at home and abroad. Who knew my one carelessness would take this form. I hadn’t even imagined it.
Advancing his press conference, Rupankar Bagchi said: ‘I had no personal enmity with KK and the question of something like this does not even come up. Who knew we would lose it after this concert. He had no intention of saying anything bad about any person in particular. If my family and fans have been hurt by this, then I apologize for this.
