Production on ‘Rowdy Rathore 2’ is expected to commence following the completion of shooting for the film ‘Love And War’. This timing sets a clear roadmap for the franchise’s return.
The original ‘Rowdy Rathore’ was a blockbuster, released in 2012. It starred Akshay Kumar and Sonakshi Sinha.
Directed by Prabhu Deva, the film was a Hindi remake of the 2006 Telugu hit ‘Vikramarkudu’. The film achieved significant box office success.
With a reported budget of roughly $7.2 million, it garnered approximately $24.4 million worldwide.
