Rovaina and Felice shower Venezuela with gold in Panama bowling

The couple made up of Luis Rovaina and Rogelio Felice, from Venezuela, won the gold medal, yesterday, in the Pan-American Bowling Championship, which is held at the Sebelén Bowling Center facilities, with 80 players, representing 15 nations.

Rovaina and Felice, to achieve first place, threw 460, 514, 456, 465, 483 and 426, for a total of 2,804 pins and an average of 233.67.

For its part, the silver medal was won by the couple made up of Israel Hernández and Cristian Azcona, with 480, 376, 448, 466, 449 and 485, for a total of 2,704 pins and an average of 225.33.

The third position and the bronze medal, the couple made up of Graham Fach and Austyn Ducharme, from Canada, with 453, 519, 465, 450, 452, 363, for a total of 2,702 and an average of 225.17.

For its part, the representation of Puerto Rico, conquered the first three places in the singles category. Puerto Rican Cristian Azcona, made a great performance, to win the gold medal with the following performance 227,191, 223, 299, 266, 203, for a total of 1,409 and an average of 234.83.

The second place with the silver, Israel Hernández, from Puerto Rico, with the following performance 258,233, 180, 285, 209, 222, for a total of 1,287 and an average of 231.17

Edgar Burgos, from Puerto Rico, won bronze with 268,173, 209,202, 248 and 279, for a total of 1,379, for an average of 229.

Wascar Cavallo was the most outstanding Dominican player by accumulating 1,325 pins, to average 220.83, in addition to Cavallo, the Dominican delegation is made up of Alejandro Prats, Rolando Antonio Sebelén and his son Rolando Antonio Sebelén Jr, Willie Javier and Víctor Richards Jr.

The competitions continue today with trios and teams tomorrow and Saturday, the competitions start at 9:00 am, at the Sebelén Bolwing Center facilities, with the participation of 15 countries, Bermuda, Brazil, Canada, Colombia, Costa Rica, Ecuador , El Salvador, the United States, Guatemala, Mexico, Peru, Puerto Rico, Uruguay, Venezuela and the Dominican Republic.
