Roubaix: A man attacked with a saber

The Departmental Directorate of Public Security of the North (DDSP) announced Monday, October 25 that a man had been injured Saturday evening in Roubaix. He would have been “a priori the victim of saber blows”.

The victim, a 26-year-old man, had serious injuries to his hands, including “severed tendons” but also to the legs and head. These injuries are the result of stabbing assault. If the latter has not been found, the first disputes put forward that it would probably be a saber.

Firefighters and police intervened on Saturday around 9 p.m. The victim was transported to the Roubaix hospital center. Monday, October 25, the young man’s vital prognosis was no longer engaged.

The departmental security was in charge of the investigation. Unfortunately, the assault was not captured by the town’s surveillance cameras. Witnesses to the scene were not attacked by the perpetrators.
