Ronaldo’s Al Nassr Pre-Season Training Returns to Portugal

The ambition is clear for Al Nassr as they gear up for a new season. Their star player, Cristiano Ronaldo, recently signed on for more time. He made his goals very clear.

Ronaldo spoke to the club’s media about his renewed commitment. He wants to make a real difference, not just for Al Nassr, but for football in Saudi Arabia. Winning major trophies with the club remains his top priority. He believes they will become champions in Saudi Arabia. That is why he extended his contract for two more years. Ronaldo also mentioned turning down offers to play in the Club World Cup. He felt it was important to get good rest and prepare fully. This coming season will be long, and it’s also a World Cup year. He wants to be ready for Al Nassr and for Portugal’s national team.

This year, Al Nassr’s pre-season trip is a worldwide affair. The team starts their new season training on July 17 in Riyadh. Just three days later, on July 20, the squad heads to Austria.

The team, which includes midfielder Otávio, will then make a familiar stop. They will travel to Portugal on August 4. This marks a return to Portugal for their pre-season, just like last year. The team plans to leave Portugal and return to Riyadh on August 11.

However, Portugal is not their final stop before the season officially kicks off. Al Nassr will then continue their travels. They are scheduled to visit Hong Kong starting August 15. The team will be led by coach Jorge Jesus. This extensive tour aims to get the players in top shape for the demanding season ahead.
