When you listen to bachata you think of him. And this Thursday the public in Madrid ratified his musical legacy by shouting his name: Romeo Santos.
The “king of bachata” raised the temperature of the Madrid summer with the heat of his songs in the first of the four concerts that will present at the WiZink Center, one of the largest venues in Madrid.
The audience chanted his name when, amid red flashes and fireworks, the Dominican-American singer-songwriter emerged from the depths with his characteristic white suit to sing the first melodies of “El pañuela”, the song he composed with Rosalía, accompanied by a flamenco who fulfilled the role of the Spanish artist.
