Portuguese José Mourinho’s Roma were proclaimed champions of the first edition of the Football Conference League on Wednesday against Dutch Feyenoord, which they won thanks to Nicolo Zaniolo’s goal in the first half.
Rome smiles again, and Italy once again has a champion team in a European competition.
The last one was Inter in 2010, also with Mourinho on the bench.
A Mourinho who can boast of being the first coach to win this competition and the first to win the Champions League, Europa League and Conference League, the three European competitions played during the season.
