Rohit Shetty made a shocking statement on Bollywood vs South, he said: new debate all the time

Debates continue to happen in Hindi cinema every day. These days there is a dispute between Bollywood and the film industry in the South as to which industry is the best. Many stars have given their reaction on this and now for the first time, veteran Bollywood filmmaker Rohit Shetty has broken his silence on the controversy of Bollywood and the Southern film industry. In a conversation with a media portal, Rohit Shetty said that both film industries are one.

In a conversation with ‘Prabhat Khabar’, the presenter of ‘Khatron Ke Khiladi’, Rohit Shetty has questioned those who have started the Bollywood debate and the controversy of the South. Rohit said, “Every time a new debate starts. The nepotism debate started six months ago and now a South vs Bollywood war has broken out. Hindi cinema is over. I just want to ask ‘Why do you want to divide us?’ We are all one, we should all make good movies.”

Rohit Shetty’s films ‘Singham’ and ‘Singham Returns’ proved to be box office hits and now the director has announced his third installment. Speaking about this in the interview, Rohit said, “My next film will be the next part of the Singham franchise. I will start filming next year. Apart from Ajay Devgan, there will be a lot of new faces seen in the film as well.”

So far in 2022, South Film Industry has earned a spot on the box office hits list, while Bollywood consistently falls behind. Blockbuster performances in Southern movies like ‘KGF Chapter 2’, ‘RRR’ and ‘Pushpa the Rise’ sparked a ‘who’s the best’ war between the two industries.
