Rohit Sharma’s first post-World Cup press conference hints at taking part in the T20 World Cup

Rohit Sharma is present as Indian captain for the two-match Test series in South Africa. Ahead of the Test series that begins on December 26 (tomorrow), the Indian captain held a press conference in which he hinted that he will play in the 2024 T20 World Cup next year. Earlier, all media reports claimed that Rohit Sharma will not be a part of the Indian team in the T20 World Cup.

Rohit Sharma said in the press conference that I am looking forward to playing whatever is in front of me. Rohit Sharma’s statements indicate that he can play in the T20 World Cup in 2024. However, there is no official information of any kind regarding this yet. Now it will be interesting to see whether Rohit Sharma will play in the T20 World Cup 2024 or not.

Apart from this, the Indian captain said about KL Rahul in the Test series against South Africa that he has confidence in KL Rahul. He bats well at numbers four and five. He can do wicketkeeping in Tests. I know how long he can do this.

Talking about the team’s key fast bowler Mohammed Shami, Rohit Sharma said that the Indian pacer has performed well on foreign soil in the last five to seven years. We will miss Shami. The youth will try to take their place. Although this won’t be easy.
