Rohit Sharma made history in the IPL 2025 Eliminator match. He became the first Indian player to hit a ‘triple century’ of sixes in the league. Sharma, known as the ‘Hitman’, achieved this feat by hitting 300 sixes in the Indian Premier League. He reached this milestone during the match against Gujarat Titans.
Sharma had already hit 298 sixes in his IPL career before the Eliminator match. He needed just two more to reach 300. And he did it in style, hitting two sixes against Gujarat. The 300th six was special – it was off Rashid Khan’s ball and also helped him complete 7,000 runs in the IPL. Only one other player has achieved this feat.
