Rohit Sharma doesn’t give importance to centuries, Indian captain said something that wins hearts

Indian captain Rohit Sharma played a brilliant innings of 131 runs in the first innings of the Test against England in Rajkot. This was Rohit’s 11th century in Test cricket. Rohit Sharma is the only Indian captain so far to score a century in all three formats. Still, Hitman doesn’t give importance to the centuries.

After the big win of 434 runs in the Rajkot Test, Rohit Sharma spoke about the century. The Indian captain said, “For me, every run I score for my country is important, every century I score for the country is important. I’m not the type of person who gives importance to centuries.”

Rohit Sharma’s bat seemed silent in the first two games of the ongoing five-match Test series against England. But in the third game he played a brilliant innings. In the first match of the series, played in Hyderabad, the Indian captain scored 24 and 39 runs in both innings. After that, Rohit Sharma played innings of 14 and 13 runs in the second Test in Visakhapatnam. But in the first innings of the third Test played in Rajkot, the killer’s bat spoke and he scored 131 runs in 196 balls with the help of 14 fours and 3 sixes.

In the five-match Test series against England, Team India seems to be performing brilliantly under the leadership of Rohit Sharma. After losing the first game of the series, the Indian team won the next two Tests and took a 2-1 lead. Now the fourth Test of the series will be played in Ranchi from February 23.
