The Slovenian Primoz Roglic (Jumbo Visma), triple winner of the Vuelta and Olympic time trial champion, hopes to return to training next December, since the recovery of his shoulder after the operation after his fall in the Spanish round “it runs according to the planned deadlines”.
“My shoulder rehab is going according to plan. I can move my shoulder a bit again, although I may have to wait another month before I can ride a bike. However, I am currently busy with other projects as well,” Roglic said on his social media.
After winning the Paris Nice and the Dauphiné, Roglic, 33, had an eventful end to the season with a fall and retirement in the fifteenth stage of the Tour de France and abandonment in the Vuelta in the seventeenth after falling in the sprint of the day ending in Tomares.
Roglic suffered dislocations in the shoulder that forced him to undergo surgery in September.
