Roger Martí, a new target for Valencia CF’s attack

As reported by Onda Deportivo Valencia, the Che team is interested in acquiring the services of Roger Marti in the next summer transfer market if Levante’s relegation to the Spanish second division is confirmed, which seems to be quite on track despite the victory they achieved in their last game against Atlético de Madrid at the Wanda Metropolitano.

The Valencia CFwhich is in twelfth position in the table in La Liga with 30 points and is playing in the semifinals of the Copa del Rey, needs to continue strengthening its squad to offer more variants to José Bordalás, who has complained about the few signings that they have done in recent markets.

An option to replace Maxi Gómez

Roger Martí, who trained in the lower categories of the Che team, is an interesting option to have a more complete attack and with rotation.

The 31-year-old Spanish center forward is one of the options that the club is following to replace Maxi Gómez, who seems to be leaving the club. He has 3 goals and 2 assists in 18 games played in La Liga, where he has shown a lot of mobility to participate in the game and attack deep spaces. A profile that fits well into Bordalás’ game plan, who uses a double striker in many contexts.

The name of Joselu is another option that appears on the agenda of the board of directors of the Che group, which is not willing to make such a high investment to strengthen itself. They only look for market opportunities within La Liga, where players are much cheaper than in other top-tier leagues.
