Rodney, Aderlin and Nova join Escogido practices

Rodriguez recently won the Most Valuable Player award with the Toledo Mud Hens, AAA branch of the Detroit Tigers, where he posted a .290 / .362 / .565 offensive line, including 29 home runs and 94 RBIs.

While Nova, with 11 years of experience in the Major Leagues, prepares his return to the Professional Baseball League of the Dominican Republic, where he last pitched in the 2009-10 tournament in which he helped the Lions win the crown. with a solid regular season.

El Escogido also welcomed veteran catcher Wilkin Castillo, outfielders Michael Beltré and Jhailyn Ortiz, as well as infielders Jonathan Guzmán and Gilbert Lara.

This year Beltré was elected to the AA All Star team. He participated with the Somerset Patriots (Yankees), with production of .257, 16 homers, 54 produced, 37 stolen bases and .344 percentage of on-base.
