Rockstar Games released the latest weekly update for Grand Theft Auto Online at 5:00 a.m. Eastern Time on Thursday. The patch introduces the inaugural Community Series Showcase and includes a baseline GTA$1,000,000 login bonus available to players through April 1.
The content drop coincides with the multiplayer title’s annual St. Patrick’s Day events. The primary cash reward is delivered to player accounts within 72 hours of logging in. An additional GTA500,000canbeearnedbycompletingfiveCommunitySeriesJobsduringtheweek,bringingthemaximumpotentialpromotionalpayouttoGTA1,500,000.
According to FandomWire, the update heavily alters the multiplayer economy for the week. Rockstar applied a 4x multiplier to both in-game currency and reputation points for Ron Contact Missions. Payouts for the newly highlighted Community Series are tripled for standard players, while subscribers to the premium GTA+ service receive a 6x multiplier. Vehicle Cargo Sell Missions are currently operating with a 2x multiplier.
St. Patrick’s Day mechanics require players to locate newly added Lucky and Golden Clover balloon collectibles across the map to unlock specific green Blarneys apparel. Players logging in on specific current-generation platforms also receive immediate access to a festive beer hat and stout tee.
The weekly vehicle rotation features the Albany Brigham as the primary Podium Vehicle and the Grotti Visione as the Prize Ride. Additionally, the LSIA Vehicle Warehouse and the BF Ramp Buggy are currently listed at no cost for all players. Discounted properties include Executive Offices at half price and Eclipse Boulevard Garages reduced by 30 percent.
Grand Theft Auto Online originally launched in October 2013. The continued deployment of high-value weekly rewards serves as a player retention mechanism within the broader gaming industry as the active player base awaits the eventual release of Grand Theft Auto VI.
