Rocket attack on house near Kabul airport, 2 killed, 3 injured

KABUL: A rocket hit near the Hamid Karzai International Airport in the Afghan capital, killing two people, including a child, and injuring three others.

According to Afghan media reports, a rocket was fired at a house in the Khawaja Baghra area of ​​Kabul, the sound of which was heard in the distance and dark clouds of smoke were seen in the sky.

According to Arab media reports, one child was killed and three others were injured in the rocket attack.

Earlier, Afghan media broke the news that a loud explosion was heard near Kabul Airport, for which rescue teams were dispatched to the scene.

The foreign journalist shared a video on a social networking site showing black smoke.
