Roberto Alejandro Eliminated: La Isla’s Final 9 Eye $200,000 Prize

Roberto Alejandro has been eliminated from ‘La Isla: Desafío Extremo’, setting the stage for the show’s final phase. The competition has now transitioned from teams to an individual “every-man-for-himself” format.

The Mexican dancer, previously a member of the Panteras team, was the last contestant eliminated. This departure solidified the list of nine finalists, comprising three women and six men.

Alejandro faced Gary Centeno in a demanding elimination challenge. Competitors had to hold onto small tubes without touching the ground. Alejandro lost his grip, leading to his automatic exit.

His fellow contestants, including Martín Salvador and Estefanía Ahumada, watched in disbelief. Gary Centeno, ecstatic after securing his spot, shouted thanks to God from the ground.

Reflecting on his departure, Alejandro shared his initial thoughts. “The first thing I thought when I touched the ground was of my family,” he stated.

He expressed happiness at the prospect of reuniting with his loved ones. He also found the competitions more challenging than the social dynamics on the show. “I will remember everything from this experience,” he added.

After 40 episodes and nearly two months of intense competition, the second season, filmed in the Dominican Republic, is ready to crown a champion.

Mauricio Islas, known for roles in ‘Señora Acero’ and ‘Top Chef VIP’, enters the final as a strategic contender.

Spanish actor José María Galeano, of ‘Luis Miguel: La Serie’ fame, is seen as an intellectually formidable player due to his international experience.

Estefanía Ahumada, a Spanish actress residing in Mexico, has become known for her strong personality throughout the reality show.

Mexican influencer and amateur cook Jason Romo, previously seen in ‘El Señor de los Cielos’, brings youthful energy to the final nine.

Costa Rican actor Gary Centeno, another ‘Top Chef VIP’ participant, has proven to be a strong rival despite facing physical challenges.

Puerto Rican Nievelis González is considered a clear candidate for victory. Her artistic background provides her with agility and strength in demanding challenges.

Paulina Araujo, originally from San Diego, California, has leveraged her sports discipline effectively throughout the competition.

Martín Salvador, a Dominican residing in Miami, is seen as a leader. He combines fitness discipline with a strategic vision.

At just 22 years old, Rodrigo Mata’s youth and survival skills have made him a promising and surprising finalist.

The grand finale of ‘La Isla: Desafío Extremo’ is scheduled for Monday, December 1. A final challenge among the last three competitors will determine the ultimate champion.

Beyond the prestige, the winner will receive a cash prize of $200,000. The show airs Monday through Friday and Sundays at 7 p.m. / 6 p.m. Central on Telemundo. Episodes are also available on its official app and the Peacock streaming service.
