World Series of Road Safety 2022: The World Series of Road Safety is inching towards its final destination. All matches in the league phase have ended. Now it is the turn of the competition between the teams involved in the quarterfinals. In this episode, Sachin Tendulkar’s India Legends team also agreed to play the semi-final match. India Legends will face Australia Legends in the first semi-final of the T20 tournament at the Shaheed Veer Narayan Singh International Stadium in Raipur on Wednesday.
One-sided victory and Sachin’s return to form India Legends high spirits
The India Legends team led by Sachin Tendulkar have had some bad luck this season, as three of their five matches ended in a no contest due to incessant rain. However, the two matches that Sachin & Co won were one-sided. India Legends defeated South Africa Africa and England Legends in a completely one-sided match, sure to boost the morale of the hosts. Captain Tendulkar has shown signs of returning to form with his tackle against England in Dehradun. Stuart Binny, Yusuf Pathan, Suresh Raina and Yuvraj Singh also had a lot of fun with the bat.
India Legends bowlers contributed each time
India Legends bowling department has also done well in three innings. Against England Legends the bowlers put in a stellar performance, restricting the visitors to just 130 runs while chasing 171.
The destructive form of the India Legends batsmen continues
Despite three games being canceled due to rain, the India Legends batsmen have played some excellent innings with the bat. Thus, in the first knockout game of the second season, the Men in Blue will try to do well.
Australia Legends is fit
Australia Legends got off to a poor start in the tournament but bounced back with a win in a thrilling match against Bangladesh. Since then, Watson and his team have not looked back, defeating the West Indies in their next match to secure a place in the semi-finals. Captain Watson is looking in dangerous shape and will aim to continue the momentum against the Indians.
Aussie Attack Necessary Caution
The Australian bowling attack also looks dangerous. Brett Lee, Dirk Nance, Nathan Reardon and Bryce McGain have all done well so far, so India Legends will not forget to take the necessary precautions against them in the semi-final match.
