River Plate: Bologna warned that it does not continue and Lux will be goalkeeping coach

Goalkeeper Enrique “Beto” Bologna advised that he will leave River when his contract expires on December 31 and possibly continue his career at another club in the Professional League. The 39-year-old experienced goalkeeper has already told Marcelo Gallardo and his teammates that he will emigrate from the Núñez entity, after five seasons.

Bologna came to River in 2016 and saved in 18 games, of which three were at the Monumental stadium. Now, the closest option that Bologna has to continue his professional career would be Banfield, where he started in first class, and where he would make his fourth foray, since before he was in 2003-07, 2008-11 and between 2013-15. In addition to Banfield and River, Bologna went through Alianza Lima from Peru, Unión de Santa Fe, Peñarol from Uruguay and Gimnasia y Esgrima La Plata.

But in addition, Gallardo will also lose Germán Lux, who will retire from professional practice and will become goalkeeping coach. For that reason, the Doll already communicated to Ezequiel Centurión, who was on loan at Estudiantes de Buenos Aires, that he will return to the millionaire campus.

The continuity of Franco Armani in the River Plate goal is assured, so Gallardo will have to order the team of goalkeepers for next season.
