Rishabh Pant Angry at Being Sent to Bat at No. 7, Lashes Out at Zaheer Khan

Delhi Capitals’ captain Rishabh Pant was visibly upset during the match against Lucknow Super Giants.
The incident occurred when Pant was sent in to bat at number seven.
A video of the incident shows Pant expressing his frustration to team mentor Zaheer Khan.

The Unusual Batting Order

Lucknow’s openers, Aiden Markram and Mitchell Marsh, had a strong start, adding 87 runs together.
After Nicholas Pooran got out in the 12th over, expectations were high that Pant would bat next.
However, Abdul Samad was sent in at number four, followed by Pant at number seven, after David Miller and Ayush Badoni had their turn.
Pant faced just two balls in the 20th over and was bowled out by Mukesh Kumar without scoring.

The batting order decision left many fans and viewers surprised.
Some even took to social media to express their disappointment with Pant’s late entry into the batting lineup.
One fan on X (formerly Twitter) called it “embarrassing.”
