Rishab Shetty: ‘Kantara Chapter 1’ Success Thanks to Team’s Hard Work, Overcoming Challenges

Actor-director Rishab Shetty has shared an emotional note on social media, expressing gratitude to his team for the upcoming film ‘Kantara Chapter 1’. The post highlights the extensive efforts involved in the movie’s production.

Shetty posted several photos with his entire team on Instagram. He acknowledged the significant challenges they encountered during filming.

He specifically thanked his direction team, stating, “Lots of love to my direction team. Every frame and emotion is perfect, thanks to all of you.”

Shetty praised their hard work and teamwork, noting it made everything possible “despite challenges like difficult schedules, long shooting, and sudden weather changes.” He also added, “I am proud of this journey. Thanks to those who stood by me and wished me well.”

Previously, Shetty had opened up about the intensive filmmaking process for ‘Kantara Chapter 1’. He shared behind-the-scenes images, commenting, “The thrill of giving shots is the real fun of the film #KantaraChapter1.”

He also disclosed that he filmed the climax sequence with swollen feet and a tired body. He attributed the film’s success to “the blessing of that divine power.”

‘Kantara Chapter 1’ is a prequel to the critically acclaimed 2022 film ‘Kantara’. The story delves into themes of tradition and ancestral struggles.

The film, which stars Jayaram, Rukmini Vasanth, and Gulshan Devaiah alongside Shetty, premiered in theaters on October 2. It continues to perform exceptionally well at the box office.
