Ripple vs SEC lawsuit could be delayed for a month

Ripple’s lawsuit against the SEC could be delayed again by another month due to another pandemic. This tells the Fox reporter named Eleanor Terrett.

Postpone again

As Terret reports, the case can therefore be postponed again. The delay is linked to the “new” Omicron variant that is causing a lot of problems in the US and Europe.

Ripple is accused of illegally selling $1.3 billion worth of XRP tokens, which the SEC considered to be unregistered securities. The company’s CEO and co-founder, named Brad Garlinghouse and Chris Larsen, are acting as defendants in the case.

The case is closely followed by the entire crypto world. This is because it will serve as an example for many other crypto projects. The new slowdown is yet another bad news for Ripple and XRP investors. The ongoing lawsuit ensures that the price is stopped and the XRP token is not available on American crypto exchanges.
