Nueva controversy is brewing within the League of Legends community. Fans of Riot Games are feeling disappointed once again with the decisions being made by the organization. And it’s not just the latest news about in-game rewards that’s got everyone talking.
On this occasion, it’s been revealed that Riot Games will be eliminating champions capsules and orbs that were previously earned through honor. Now, these types of rewards can only be achieved through battle passes by gaining experience in games. This move has sparked a heated debate among players, with many expressing their discontent.

This latest decision by the developers has left many wondering what’s next. As we previously discussed, the disappearance of Hextech chests seemed to suggest that the idea was to get players to pay more money to get their favorite skins. Now, it appears that there will be no free rewards beyond the season pass.
That being said, these rewards have been replaced with experience points. Although, there is still a ‘special reward’ for players who reach level five of honor, the highest level. Upon achieving this feat, players will receive three skins: Malzahar, Akshan, and Shen. These skins are certainly a nice gesture, but many players are still unhappy about the loss of free rewards.
The community has been vocal about their disapproval, pointing out that they miss the free rewards that could be achieved in the game, much like the Hextech chests that disappeared recently.

Some users claim that this decline could be as high as 7 million, but these numbers are not from a verified source, so their reliability is questionable. Nevertheless, the same source shows a noticeable decrease last year with the introduction of Vanguard to the game. It’s worth noting that the numbers may not be entirely accurate, but one thing is certain – the community is not happy with the current state of the game.
