The game works because you don’t touch the screen at all. Instead, you move your head side-to-side to dodge obstacles on the road. RidePods taps into the motion sensors hidden inside your AirPods. These sensors track your head movements. The farther you dodge, the higher your score climbs.

After trying it out, I noticed your head needs to be quite still. Playing this game in a moving car might lead to quick “Game Over” screens. Your body won’t be stable, and you could easily crash into other cars. You can also change settings to accelerate or brake. Tilting your head forward makes you go faster, and leaning back applies the brakes.
