Ridhhima Kapoor Sahni, the renowned fashion designer and daughter of Neetu Kapoor and late Rishi Kapoor, has been in the headlines lately due to her daughter Samara. A video featuring Samara and her uncle Adaar Jain had surfaced, sparking speculation that she had pushed her grandmother, Neetu. Although Ridhhima had addressed the incident earlier, she has now spoken about it again. The fashion designer was recently spotted at an event with her husband, Bharat Sahni, where she opened up about her daughter.
During the event in Jaipur, Ridhhima interacted with the media and was asked why her younger child wasn’t accompanying her. She replied, “She’s not young; she’s 14 years old.” Her husband, Bharat, chimed in, saying that Samara had wanted to attend but they hadn’t given her permission. Ridhhima added, “She’s a baby, and I told her to focus on her studies.” Bharat further explained, “She’ll have to wait for her turn.”
Ridhhima Kapoor Talks About Her Daughter Samara
When the media mentioned that Samara seems to enjoy being in front of the camera, Ridhhima agreed, “Yes, that’s true. We’ve told her to prioritize her studies for now, and we’ll bring her along next time.” A media person then brought up the viral video from Adaar Jain’s wedding, where Samara appeared to be in a bad mood. Ridhhima clarified, “No, she wasn’t angry; she just wanted to pose and stretch her hand out, but when it didn’t feel right, she pulled it back.”
Public Reaction to Ridhhima Kapoor
Bharat shared that Samara had taken individual photos with everyone and had even taken a solo picture. He joked that his phone is full of Samara’s photographs, and she was enjoying the photo shoot. However, upon watching the video, people reacted with mixed opinions. One user commented, “Stop acting like Karina.” Another said, “It’s Mumbai, not Bombay; get out of the British era.” A third user wrote, “They’re trying to cover up bad behavior with good excuses.” A fourth user speculated, “The daughter embarrassed them so much that they left her at home.” Ridhhima and Bharat’s explanations, however, seemed to have put the controversy to rest, and the focus is now back on their talented daughter, Samara.
