Breaking News: Real Betis In the Running to Acquire Ricardo Rodriguez
Real Betis has been identified as a team vying for the services of full-back Ricardo Rodriguez, according to his representative, Haroon Masoodi. Masoodi spoke to Inter-News, revealing that they have received offers from Dubai’s Al-Ain, Turkey’s Olympiacos, and others, but thus far, no offer has met expectations.
Ricardo Rodriguez is currently a free agent after his contract with Inter de Milan expired. The 31-year-old, who has 120 international caps for Switzerland, has experience in multiple leagues, including Italy, Germany, and the Netherlands.
A veteran of high-level competitions, Rodriguez has played for Inter de Milan and has gained valuable experience. He has recently participated in the Eurocup with Switzerland, where he played every minute of the group stage, round of 16, and extra time in the quarter-finals before losing to England on penalties.
Injury Crisis Strikes Real Betis, Seeks Alternatives
Ricardo Rodriguez joins a list of full-backs Real Betis is courting, which includes Abel Bretón, Cardona, and Manu Sánchez. The La Liga outfit is in dire need of reinforcements for the left-back position following the sales of Abner to Olympique Lyonnais and Juan Miranda.
A solitary left back remains on the roster, Frenchman Romain Perraud, raising concerns for coach Manuel Pellegrini. The Verdiblancos are keen to bolster the ranks with experienced players who can fill the vacant spot and provide depth.
