Doctor Ricardo Ravelo Jana will continue as of this Tuesday the functions of president of Club Atlético Licey with a call for teamwork, as announced by the National and Caribbean Champions in a press release.
“I thank the board of directors for the trust they have placed on my shoulders. I have the commitment to give continuity to what we already did well last year to continue doing the same or better”, indicated Ravelo Jana.
“We have several projects on the pipeline for this two-year period, including improving the experience for fans in the stadium, making them feel more comfortable watching their champions compete on the field of play,” he added.
Ravelo Jana indicated that the winning lineup is not changed, referring to the conformation of the club’s board of directors and specified that both the administrative and corporate part of the institution know what they have to do for the entity to function effectively.
He called on the fans to continue, from wherever they are, supporting the team and defined them as “the strong arm of the organization.”

The lawyer and former president Miguel Guerra Armenteros will continue as vice president, the lawyer and also former president Miguel Ángel Fernández will be the treasurer. Mr. Rafael Antonio Úbeda Heded returns as secretary.
The board of directors is completed, as directors: the outgoing president, Dr. Domingo Pichardo, also former president Jaime Alsina De Castro; the engineer Tancredo Aybar Torres and the architect Federico González Santoni.

Born on June 29, 1964, Ravelo Jana is the second son of Dr. Fernando Ravelo Álvarez, president of the Licey between 2011 and 2013, and Mrs. Lil Magaly Jana de Ravelo, former president of the Women’s Branch.
He previously served as an adviser on legal and strategic affairs and as vice president after the 2013 elections.
He is a lawyer at the firm Ravelo & Asociados since 1985. Married to Lill Español Simó, with whom he shares his life along with his children Ricardo José, Laura Amelia, Jesús Aníbal and Lil Gabriela, who was the godmother of the Licey in the 2014-15 season .
