Acquired for more than $400 million by transmission platform Netflix, the next two surveys of Knives out (with knives drawn in MB) led by detective Benoît Blanc (Daniel Craig) and carried out by Rian johnson, are in production. The movie is currently being filmed in Greece and could, in the words of its director, have another name than the simplistic “Knives Out 2” since it is not a sequel strictly speaking but a new investigation. In any case, the filmmaker shared Twitter that the filming was progressing well as the Hellenic filming has already finished and the filming is 50% complete:
Kate hudson, one of the many cast members, posted a photo of herself on social media along with Dave Bautista and Kathryn Hahn to also announce the end of filming in Greece. In addition to Daniel Craig, Kathryn Hahn, Kate Hudson and Dave Bautista, the feature film’s plethora of cast will include Edward Norton, Janelle Monae and Jessica Henwick but also Ethan hawke as the recent filming photos revealed.
“About halfway through our shoot, it’s the end of Greece! Thanks to all the great people here and to our local team, who killed him. (Metaphorically, this is not a spoiler) “
After SiriusXM, Johnson said he wanted to imitate the great saga of Christie Agatha and his hero Poirot Hercule also offering a multitude of surveys Benoit blanc. Except for the moment, the saga Knives out it’s only scheduled for three movies (at least in the contract linked to Netflix). At the moment, a release date has yet to be announced.
