Rhône: a bus targeted by shots, the driver in shock

A bus was targeted by gunfire on Wednesday, September 1, on the Chemin des Razes in the town of Sainte-Foy-lès-Lyon, in the metropolis of Lyon (Rhône).

The facts occurred around 9.45 p.m., relates the police news site News17.

If no passenger was present on board the bus at the time of the facts, the driver was close to death because a bullet was found near his seat. In total, at least five impacts were counted.

Entrusted to the local police station, the investigation for violence with weapons in assembly will have to determine the motives of the perpetrator (s) who fled after these shots.

Safe and sound but in shock, the driver was granted five days of total incapacity for work (ITT).

Regarding the weapon used, it would be a rifle because of the 12 gauge cases found near the scene of the incident.
