Restaurant Manager Defends Britney Spears: ‘Very Kind,’ Not ‘Erratic’

Contrary to initial reports, Britney Spears maintained composure during a recent dinner outing. Oliver Wynn, general manager of the Red O restaurant, told Us Weekly that claims of her acting "erratically" are "not fair, realistic, or true."

Spears, 43, and her assistant visited the Westlake Village, California, restaurant on October 22. Earlier accounts from the Daily Mail had described the pop star’s behavior as troublesome.

Wynn confirmed Spears was "super calm and very kind" during her visit. She was at the restaurant for less than an hour.

The singer ordered a quesadilla and no alcohol in the newly opened lounge area. Wynn noted that another guest offered her a glass of wine, which was brought to her table. He firmly stated, "She was not drunk."

During her time at Red O, Spears took photos and videos with several fans. Wynn observed her comfortably chatting with her friend and these fans. He noted her appreciation for the restaurant staff before she left.

Paparazzi images later showed Spears changing lanes on her drive home. An independent source explained to Us Weekly that "several cars" were following her with "very bright" lights. Spears was reportedly "a little overwhelmed and just wanted to get home."

This public appearance occurred just one day after her ex-husband, Kevin Federline, released his memoir, ‘You Thought You Knew.’ In the book, the 47-year-old dancer voiced deep concerns about Spears.

Federline expressed apprehension following the 2021 termination of her 13-year conservatorship. He wrote of a "growing urgency" he could not ignore, suggesting the situation was "moving towards something irreversible."

He cited "erratic behavior," "isolation," and "refusal to accept help" as "signs." Federline also stated his fear that their children, Sean Preston, 20, and Jayden James, 19, would ultimately "bear the consequences."

Spears previously addressed Federline’s memoir on X on October 15. She criticized his "constant manipulation," calling it "extremely hurtful and exhausting."

The pop star condemned his "pious lies," asserting she is "the only one who actually gets hurt here."
