Relations between Turkey and Israel are restored, ambassadors are appointed

Turkey and Israel have decided to appoint ambassadors to each other’s country while fully restoring diplomatic relations.

Turkish Foreign Minister Mevlut Cavusoglu announced the progress in Turkish-Israeli diplomatic relations while holding a press conference in Ankara.

He said that a decision has been made to appoint ambassadors between Israel and Turkey. I pray that this decision will be a source of blessings.

The Foreign Minister reiterated his determination that Turkey will continue to defend the rights of the Palestinian people. He said that in response to Israel’s positive initiative, Turkey has also decided to appoint its own ambassador.

On the other hand, in a statement issued by the Israeli Prime Minister’s office, it has been said that Israel is going to establish relations with Turkey again and relations between the two countries will return to normal in the future.

The statement said that after the restoration of mutual relations, ambassadors and consular generals will be appointed at the diplomatic level.
