Regional Center launches beach volleyball coaches course

With the participation of 19 coaches from Ecuador, Costa Rica, Italy, Cuba, Mexico and the Dominican Republic, the International Course for Beach Volleyball Coaches Level 1 began.

This important international course is organized by the Norceca/FIVB Regional Center for the Development of Volleyball, directed by Professor Nelson José Ramírez.

This activity was attended by the doctor. Radhamés Tavárez, vice president of the Dominican Olympic Committee (COD), and the lawyer. Amós Anglade, vice president of the Dominican Volleyball Federation.

Hernández said that the International Federation, since it received the Center’s request for the organization of this course, gave its approval as recognition of the excellent work carried out by Professor Ramírez.

“That is why this Center is positioned as number one in the world,” he highlighted at the opening ceremony held in the Conference Room of the Volleyball Pavilion of the Juan Pablo Duarte Olympic Center, where the course takes place.

Likewise, he said that he has come to transmit the latest techniques that are being applied in this exciting modality of volleyball.

Tavárez, when speaking, urged the participants to put into practice the knowledge that will be delivered by the International Volleyball Federation (FIVB) instructor, Mauro Hernández, from Venezuela, so that they can put it at the service of the athletes. of each of their National Federations.

On behalf of the Olympic Committee, he congratulated the work carried out by the Development Center, which is directed by Professor Ramírez, as well as FEDOVOLI, Norceca and Fivb for being the sponsors of this Center.

While Mr. Anglade welcomed all the participants and said that he hopes that this course meets the objectives set for the benefit of Beach Volleyball.

At the closing of the ceremony, Nelson José Ramírez took the opportunity to thank the support received from the Norceca Confederation, chaired by Mr. Cristóbal Marte, and from the National Institute of Physical Education to carry out this course that ends next Thursday with delivery of certificates.
