Redmi Note 15 Launched: Snapdragon 6 Gen 3, 5800mAh Battery, 120Hz OLED Display

Redmi, Xiaomi’s sub-brand, just launched its new Note 15 series in China. The standard Redmi Note 15 is here, alongside the Pro and Pro+ versions. This base model gets some nice updates over the Note 14 5G, which came out in January 2025. You’ll find a bigger battery, a brighter screen, and better specs all around.

Let’s talk about the display first. The Redmi Note 15 sports a large 6.77-inch OLED panel. It offers a sharp Full HD+ resolution. Plus, it has a smooth 120 Hz refresh rate for fluid visuals. The screen can get incredibly bright, hitting a peak of 3,200 nits. For easy unlocking, there’s a fingerprint sensor built right under the display.

It pairs with LPDDR4X RAM, offering choices of 6, 8, or 12 GB. For storage, you get UFS 2.2 in 128 or 256 GB options. The whole system runs on Redmi’s HyperOS 2, which is based on Android 15.

When it comes to cameras, the Note 15 has a few tricks up its sleeve:

  • The main camera is 50 megapixels. It uses a Light Fusion 400 sensor and has an f/1.8 aperture.
  • A 2-megapixel sensor helps with depth, adding a nice touch to your photos.
  • For selfies and video calls, there’s an 8-megapixel front camera. It ensures your images look clear and crisp.

What’s more, it can even share its power with other devices. All this power fits into a slim body, just 7.35 mm thick. The phone also boasts an IP66 rating, meaning it can withstand high-pressure water jets and dust.

The Redmi Note 15 doesn’t skimp on other features either. It comes with stereo speakers that support Dolby Atmos sound. There’s also an infrared sensor. For connectivity, it offers 5G, Wi-Fi 6, Bluetooth 5.1, and NFC.
