According to a leaker named “Arsernal” on Weibo, Xiaomi should improve the winning recipe for the Redmi Note 10 for the next generation, without making major changes. However, Xiaomi would have decided to do without a 120 Hz OLED screen for the Redmi Note 11, the latter would be reserved for the Redmi Note 11 Pro. The basic version would opt for a 120 Hz LCD screen.

The Redmi Note 11 will also say goodbye to Qualcomm chips, since Xiaomi should equip its series with processors from MediaTek. The Redmi Note 11 would be powered by a Dimensity 810, and the Redmi Note 11 Pro by a Dimensity 920. This should help MediaTek to consolidate its leadership position in smartphone processors given that the Redmi Note series is the most popular of the Chinese manufacturer.
