Redmi Note 10 Lite is official: the new Xiaomi we don’t want in Europe

This Thursday Xiaomi surprised with the launch of a new smartphone. It is the Redmi Note 10 Lite, which is not exactly a new device. As you can find out in this article, it is just a Redmi Note 9 Pro by another name.

This comes together to generate some confusion down the line, being launched in the price range of the Redmi Note 10. Like the Redmi Note 9 Pro of 2020, the Redmi Note 10 Lite is powered by the Snapdragon 720G processor and follows its lines of design.

It has 4GB or 6GB of RAM and 64GB or 128GB of internal storage. In terms of colors, Aurora Blue, Champagne Gold, Glacier White and Interstellar Black will be available.

Like the original model, it has a 6.67 ”IPS LCD panel with Full HD + resolution. This screen has Gorilla Glass 5 protection and houses a 16 MP front camera ideal for selfies.

At the photographic level, we find a 48 MP main camera on the back of the equipment. This is accompanied by an 8MP ultra-wide 5MP macro sensor and a 2MP depth sensor.

The Redmi Note 10 Lite has a 5020 mAh battery, charging 18 W. As expected, it maintains the 3.5 mm jack input and charges via USB-C. The good news is that, for now, it was a newly launched smartphone in India.

In the country, it has a price equivalent to € 163 in the 4GB and 64GB variant, and € 186 in the 6GB and 128GB variant. It hits the Indian market this Saturday, but let’s hope it doesn’t end in Europe, as it doesn’t bring anything new.
