Gaming smartphones are a particularly rugged, flashy, and gradually successful variety of Android phones. This is where Xiaomi’s Black Shark brand comes in, ASUS’s ROGs, as well as Chinese ZTE’s Nubia Red Magic. Now, we have the first believable images of the next generation of these mobile devices: Red Magic 7S.
For those interested, we already know that Nubia (a division of ZTE) will officially introduce these smartphones on July 11 in its home country of China. However, as is customary in this industry, product images hit the Internet in the form of two yield or digital images that seem particularly believable.
These are the first images of the Red Magic 7S smartphones
First of all, we will have two models. Namely: the Nubia Red Magic 7S and the Pro model, Nubia Red Magic 7S Pro. The images in this article show the possible Pro model with its transparent glass back and silver finish.
It should also be noted that these same smartphones have already been certified by the Chinese agency TENAA, ahead of their official presentation. In addition, they also confirmed some of its main technical characteristics.
Apparently, the new phones will keep the internal fan with a maximum power of 20,000 RPM for cooling the smartphone. In addition, it will have triggers on the corners of the phone, as well as some light elements – RGB LED’s.
The ZTE Red Magic 7S will use Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 8+ SoC
It should also be noted that the main technical characteristics of the smartphone are written on its own back. Thus, we have the explicit reference to the Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1, the 5,000 mAh capacity battery, as well as the ICE 10.0 liquid cooling engine.
We also have a red button on the side that will activate the most advanced functions of the Red Magic 7S Pro. On the front it seems that we will have a camera already housed under the AMOLED screen itself, as well as the integrated fingerprint reader.
The possible differences between the Red Magic 7S models
The Pro model will have a 6.8-inch screen, Full-HD +, AMOLED technology with a high refresh rate. It will have up to 18 GB of RAM and up to 1 TB of internal storage. Its operating system will be Google’s Android 12 with the Red Magic UI interface.
We can also highlight the presence of an 8 MP or 16 MP front camera to fit under the AMOLED panel in this Pro version. Best of all? In this model we will have fast charging at 135 W or 165 W depending on the source of the information.
On the other hand, the base model will have a smaller capacity battery with 4,500 mAh and charging at 120 W. The camera of this model is also expected to be “conventional” in the sense of not being embedded under the AMOLED panel. However, it is believed that most of the technical specifications are shared by both models.
Finally, we are now waiting for the official presentation of both mobile devices on July 11.
