RED Canids pulled off a thrilling victory against LOUD this past Friday, the 5th, in the LTA South League of Legends tournament. The intense best-of-five series went down to the wire. RED Canids ultimately won 3-2, keeping their hopes alive in the competition.
The match between the two top teams was a true showdown. LOUD jumped ahead first, taking the initial game. But RED Canids quickly answered back in the second match, evening the score. Despite LOUD holding a significant advantage in the third game, Ygor “RedBert” Freitas and his team managed a comeback, grabbing the win and making the score 2-1.

LOUD’s run in the tournament ended here. Their official social media shared a post reflecting on their season: “We finished our journey in the 3rd split of LTA Sul. The competitive year of 2025 in League of Legends did not reflect everything we built throughout our history and, above all, did not translate our objectives. The results were far from what we have already shown to be capable of…”
The final decision in the series came down to the last two games. RED Canids powered through, securing both matches to close out the series 3-2. This crucial win earned them a coveted spot in the Americas Phase of the tournament.
RED Canids will now face paiN Gaming this Saturday, the 7th, at 1:00 PM. The team that wins that match will advance to the grand final. There, they will battle Vivo Keyd Stars this Sunday, the 8th. The team that loses Saturday’s match will still secure a spot as seed 3 in the LTA playoffs.
