RED Canids Overhauls Roster After Shocking LTA Sul Elimination

The RED Canids are shaking things up after a shocking loss. They got knocked out of the League of The Americas tournament by Vivo Keyd Stars. The team won the first game easily, but things took a turn in the second. A questionable call changed the momentum, and they ended up losing.

That loss is leading to some big changes. The team’s CEOs, Corradini and JP Garcia, said they’re not sure who will be on the team for the next stage, but they know it won’t be the same. They’re looking to make some major moves.

On Monday, Corradini posted on X (formerly Twitter) that all the current players are up for sale or free to go without any penalties. That means the organization is starting from scratch. The team’s coach, Calisto “Coelho” Clavé, is also out. Corradini says they’re close to hiring a new coach.

What happened to the team?

The team that played for RED Canids in the LTA Sul tournament included:

  • Francisco “fNb” Miranda
  • Gabriel “Aegis” Saes
  • Daniel Xavier “Grevthar” Ferreira
  • Diego “Brance” Amaral
  • José Eduardo “Frosty” Leal

They ended up in 5th/6th place, missing out on the title and spots in the Mid-Season Invitational and eSports World Cup. They also lost their chance to go to a boot camp in Canada, which would have been paid for by Riot Games.

A new start

Corradini explained the situation on X: “We had individual talks with all the players and coaches. We told them about our plans and the future of the organization. They’re all free to go, and we’re looking to make some changes.” The team is looking for a fresh start, and it seems like they’re willing to do whatever it takes to make it happen.
