The curtains closed on the Circuitão 2025 – Stage 1 on Monday, with the RED Canids Academy and Keyd Stars Academy facing off in the final. Only one team made it to Summoners Rift.
These two organizations are the only ones with a lineup in the Brazilian League of Legends (LoL) tier 2 competition. They’re showing the value of having a strong base team that can pay off now and in the future.
The RED Canids Academy was on a 17-game winning streak since April 2. They came into the final with confidence. The Keyd Stars Academy came from the lower bracket, having lost to RED and beaten Stellae Gaming in the semifinal.
How it went down
The first game was intense, but RED Canids Academy won after 34 minutes with 45 kills. The second game was smoother, with RED amplifying their lead in just 28 minutes. The third game saw a lot of movement, but the outcome was the same: RED closed the 3-0 win after 42 minutes, taking the trophy.
