Realme is working on a new concept phone with a massive 10,000 mAh battery, surpassing the recently launched Honor Power’s 8,000 mAh battery.
Bigger Battery, Slimmer Design
The concept phone, dubbed ‘GT 10,000 mAh’, boasts a large battery capacity without compromising on design. Realme achieved this by using a silicon-based anode battery with 10% silicon content, the highest ratio in the smartphone industry. This technology allows for a higher energy density of 887 Wh/L, enabling a larger battery capacity without increasing the overall size.
The phone’s thickness is just 8.5 mm, and it weighs around 200 grams. Realme’s new ‘Mini Diamond Architecture’ internal design makes this possible. This innovative design allows for the smallest Android smartphone motherboard at 23.4 mm, accommodating the massive battery.
Design and Features
The GT 10,000 mAh features a semi-transparent back cover, showcasing its internal design. It also has a dual-camera setup on the back. Realme has filed over 60 global patents for this design.
The company might showcase the GT 10,000 mAh at the upcoming global launch event for the GT 7 series in late May 2025. However, it’s unlikely to be available for sale soon.
