Realme Pad mini: meet the next competitive tablet for 2022

Realme entered the tablet market in September 2021 with one of the best products in the industry in terms of quality/price, the Realme Pad. However, the Chinese manufacturer is preparing a new product for those looking for something more compact, the realme pad mini.

We recall that for its first tablet, the OPPO sub-brand opted for the MediaTek Helio G80 processor and a 7,100 mAh battery in a slim tablet with metal construction. Now, you must keep most of these features in your new product.

Specifications and images confirm the existence of the Realme Pad mini

The Realme Pad mini will feature an 8.7-inch diagonal IPS LCD screen. It will have a Unisoc T616 processor, a cheap chipset, but equally competent. In fact, this feature was already confirmed on a product listing with model number RMP2105 last December during a visit to the Geekbench platform.

The new Android tablet will have 4 GB of RAM and 64 GB of internal storage. It will also use a 6,400mAh battery with support for 18W fast charging, just like the current Realme Pad.

Likewise, we have a metal construction in aluminum alloy and a slim profile of 7.6 mm with a slight emphasis on the 8 MP rear camera. The front camera will have 5 MP for video calls and possible selfies.

The Realme Pad mini tablet will also arrive in Europe

The product image shows a metallic silver finish and there may be other color schemes for the Android tablet. In addition, we also have its arrival in Europe after certification by EEC with model number RMX2106.

We also remember that the current Realme Pad is one of the cheapest Android tablets on the market, from €199.99 on Amazon.ES. Therefore, it is reasonable to have a low and extremely competitive price for its mini version.

Finally, Realme may reveal this product next week during the Mobile World Congress (MWC) 2022.
